Storms and Sunsets
July 12, 2011
It seems like we’ve had a lot of storms lately here in Wooster, Ohio. From the F2 tornado that tore a swath through the south side of Wooster a few months ago (including a direct hit on my Brother-in-law’s house… they’re all okay, thank God!) to the nasty thunderstorms we’ve been having every week or so…
But every storm does pass, and what comes after can be just fabulous!
If you’re going through a storm, just remember the hope we have that it won’t last forever!

Nice video! I love thunderstorms as I can feel the power of God present in them and there’s nothing quite like the smell of fresh air after a storm (although I seem to recall that being more pronounced when I was a kid). Of course, I prefer storms without damage! As a musician, I can hardly witness a storm without thinking of the song, “Praise You in the Storm” or Ricky Skaggs’, “You’ll Find God” (which was in my CD player as you posted this!).
Love your comment about “what comes after…”. Last night the “after” was a “Daily & Vincent” concert with a rainbow directly over the stage. You wrote, “fabulous” and I can’t think of a more fitting word than that!
